1/8 mile times

Hey I was just wondering what everyone's 8th mile time were and your mods. And also how much 4.10 or 3.73 gears helped. My 2010 v6 runs a 9.7at 73mph with a CAI, 93 bama tune, and dual exhaust. Is that about right or should I be running faster than that?

My bone stock 2014 ran 9.4 @ 78 last Wednesday. That's automatic with 2.73 gear.

It's due to the 2010s still having the old 4.0L engine

My 2011 v6 did it in 9.360 @80.15. It was pretty much bone stock, only a axle back And TB spacer at the time.

I don't think my 9.3 was because of the track though I think it had more to do with my tires spinning so much because of the 215s. I need 275s!!!

But when you ran the same tires you used before you got a faster and slower time but different days. That's why I thought it was the track

Yea but I had different mods the 2 times! If I had the same mods I would of though it was the track but the 1st time I had less hp before so I was able to get better traction! Idk thats just what i think though because once I hooked up I booked it!! That's why my trap MPH were higher than urs! I guess we just have to go back and experiment some more! Haha.

All I know is my et was higher because of wheel spin because once I got traction I took off that's y my trap was almost the same as the 1st run.

These are all really impressive 1/8 mile passes! From what we've seen, a 2011+ V6 will usually run somewhere in the 9 sec are for a 1/8 mile pass. Keep up the great work guys and remember to have fun at the track!

Please let me know if you ever have any questions or need some assistance!

My personal best is a 8.713 @ 83.07mph..... Had some pretty good air that night. My average is around 8.8 now because the weather in Florida is horrible for racing in rite now.

Sorry, but that's impossible. It couldn't have been at 85 mph. The et is good for your mods... the trap is what a stock 5.0 puts out through the 1/8th mile

I live on a mountain so the elevation is about 1400 ft. And my car out ran a 2011 with a CAI and ford performance chip every time. And that's the same engine as yours. So don't get cocky

Well there must be something wrong because there is a 100 hp deficit. Was that your best run? At 9.7?

Was he asleep while racing? If I ever lose to a 2010 v6 then I'm trading it in for a Prius!
