Like I mentioned earlier, ProMotorStripes has a quality product and great service. If you screw something up, they will even work with you on individual pieces. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I agree. You didn't do too much stripe and it looks great. I'm leaning towards silver. White is still an option. i want to do the reverse c stripe like yours and then black 3.7 emblems on the decal then id like to do full front bumper to rear bumper silver or white stripes. I'm just thinking that might be just a tad too much. Did you plasti dip the chrome surround on your grill? How did you go about doing that? Tape around paint and the rest of grill? I've done my wheels and they look good. Also like the white pony. Ties everything together.

Thanks bro. Yep my first plasti dip job, the pony on the front grill. I used painters tape and taped computer white paper to cover around the pony and grill. Lol. I want to do my wheels next. Pics of your wheels bro. I think your color stripes will be awesome.

Heres all the attached pictures. The one without plasi dip is just my favorite picture of my mustang. And the one with the weird little marring is where i got a nice little shopping cart kiss I wanted to cry and body shop wants 550 bucks to fix it. Thats whats making me hesitant about putting stripes on is that it will really highlight that area and make it look like crap. It's on the part right below the license plate. For my wheels i just took them all off and i recommend taking out the centercap. You have to take it out from behind. There is a little ring you pull out and then just pop the cap out and reinstall it once you are done.

Did yours come in 3 pieces or one. Probably going to fix my stripe myself and replace the C stripe. Gonna outline it in painter tape and just peel off and really the 227 one. Thanks for the link!

It appears really short in the eBay picture. Yours is much longer and that's what I like

Three separate pieces it was bro. I'm very happy with the vinyl stripping from eBay and absolutely recommend the business I bought it from..

Got another quote today. This time from main media who quoted me almost 1800.00 or I buy the kit and they install for 600+. Either way is more than I am willing to pay for vinyl.

It was the same thing here. The quotes I was getting were ridiculous. I decided to do it myself and it came out awesome! The hardest part for me was the front bumper so I called around and the cheapest I found was 150$ just labor. Needless to say I learned! Lol.

Lol. I must. Apparently everyone thinks I am made of money. Maybe I should roll in the dirt and not shower and shave before I go get bids.

I would SO do $100
$225 just seems high to me
However I am really worried I wouldnt get them straight

Other question.
My wife is worried that I will put on the stripes and after a few months I will decide I don't like it anymore.
She is worried that then removing them would either damage the paint or cause the paint colors to look different because of 'sun fading' on the non-vinyl parts

It will take a LONG time to fade lol. And they will not damage the paint

225 is in my opinion a good price for install. Cheapest i have found here is 350. I think you will like them the stripes and wont take them off and it will take a very long time for the paint to start fading from the vinyl.

I want to. Apparently my wife has strong feelings against it (came out of blue after I had already purchased them)
Got all upset that I obviously didnt like my car, so why did we get it if its not how I want.
I said that is like saying you buy a computer but cant put any software on it, because if you wanted software you should have purchased it that way.
I was like WOOOO what is wrong with making a great thing better and personalized.
Tweaks and upgrades dont mean I dont love the car....

So now I am freaking hesitant to get them done, or bring it up again as I dont want to get my head bit off again...

I build enthusiast computers and that is my other hobby. I'm sure there are a few other people like that on here. Overclocking, watercooling, the whole deal. I love the customization. Same thing with a car. You buy it and then tweak things to how YOU want them. I also do paint correction and side detailing for people and it can be hard to sell sometimes. My family doesn't understand why i put so much time into my car. My mother has a swirled out camry and i did a spot on the car to show the difference and she was amazed. Theres people that buy something and are perfectly satisfied with it and how it works and then well theres people like us who have to have a little fun and make it our own

Yea, but her not thinking its necessary and her getting majorly worked up about it, are 2 different things. Then ends with "Its your car, do whatever" but we guys all know what that means... "If you do it there will be hell to pay"
