These are badass, although I can't seem to click on the pictures of the Mustang and make them bigger, the interior looks amazing.

I may also go to hell for saying this, but I like the Camaro green better than GHIG

Sorry is this is off topic, but can I ask how your removed your license plate bracket? It looks like the same type my dealer used and I'm wondering how to get the thing off.

BTW, those stripes look awesome

For those of you who are putting the Le Mans style stripes on your cars....are you getting the tapered or straight stripe kits? What exactly is the difference between the two stripes (besides the obvious)....Which of the two is easier to put on? Just trying to get a little more info before I hit the checkout button!

You would be better of having it painted. The gloss black vinyl scratches real easy. Even the wrong cloth/towel will scratch it.

Be wary of ebay. Not all of them use vinyl that is good for automotive.

I bought some lemans 10inch stripes and American muscle rocker panels from American muscle for around 160$ I am getting then installed this Saturday.. I'll post before and after and what the graphics company said about the stripes.. Cause when they asked me what kinda material are the American muscle products.. I actually called and they were very vague on the material details.. I guess some types f stripes are better quality and easier to install.. But I'll let you guys know how it goes! Cause AM prices are pretty good. Oh and installation came out to 200 for stripes and rocker panels

Thank you guys for a high quality product! I will be showing my support next week when I install my American muscle rocker panels Click image for larger version

Yeah, it's one thing to have the dealer name on a license plate cause you can always take it off, but it's just friggen rude of the dealer to do that to a Mustang or any car for that matter.

Yeah, and you should get it off as soon as you can. The longer it stays on, the more difficult it can be, or leave marks behind.

My stripes be like...

If it helps, I paid $600 total for 9 inch stripes, and install. They did it in about 2 hours. They meticulously cut and tucked the vinyl to match the body lines so much better than I know I would have. Especially in the trunk / license plate area.

How do I peel them off? Cause the dealership tag is a vinyl so I was scared to peel it off.. Any recommendations on how to remove it without damaging the paint? And wow 600$! To install that is crazy expensive.. I had mine professionally installed for roughly 180$ it was 150 but they did some work with filling in a couple paint chips I had to make the stripes look perfect.. I would get quoted from multiple places...

Your stripes look great!!! The guy that installed my AM vinyl stripes said they were high quality. You can buy a bottle of 'decal remover' from any parts store. The dealers name on our Ford Edge came off with my fingers after sitting in the hot sun for a couple hours.

Mine came off the day after i picked it up.

Before:

After:

I took it in a couple days after I bought it for a detailing issue and the salesman looked at it and said "Well, you didn't wait long to peel that off, did you?"

The only way I would leave a dealership decal on is if it came from Mark Martin's dealership.

I can understand plastidip for small accenting but helllllllllll noooo for something as large as a deal as striping. It'll fade and start peeling in no time compared to today's quality vinyl.

The Ford dealer where I bought my car. They do not used vinyl advertising stickers. They put a license plate frame on the cars they sell. That was my first mod off with the dealer frame and on with a new frame.

My dealer uses vinyls on the cars and steel badges on the trucks.

I got sick and was home bored so I put on my American Muscle rocker panel vinyls and in the process created some hash marks with some extra vinyl I had from my American muscle 10inch stripes what do you guys think? And this was the first time I handled any vinyls and I honestly think it was pretty easy.. I actually ended up pullin off a piece of my stripes (I had professionally installed) because they had a lot of imperfections.. It was the back bumper and it came out flawless.. If I woulda known it was this easy I would of saved 200$ and done the stripes myselfClick image for larger version
