2012 Mustang V6 - Appearance Build (Before/After - Costs)

Just want to share what the before and after of my appearance build as well as the cost associated w/ the mods. I got this 2012 CPO V6 premium almost exact 2 months ago over memorial weekend, my first domestic, ford, and mustang. I'm very impressed w/ what ford has done and don't know why I didn't get in a mustang sooner.

Here is the cost breakdown of each mods and source.

Now, I need to start research/planning on performance mods. Most likely I will start that in about 12K miles once the warranty is out.

Dude your mustang is beautiful. Love what you did! The black accents make the GB really stand out. 10/10!

The tint you bought on eBay for the tail lights, was that pre cut or was it a sheet you cut yourself?

the taillight vinyl was just 1 piece, not precut. I tinted them first and cut out the reverse lights afterwards.

Ok that's what I thought. I've actually tried doing that, traced out the taillight with masking tape and cut the shape out. I was just having issues with getting the reverse lights cut out. But since you've had success I'll try again.

i was thinking of going that route, but was worry that i can't get the lines perfect when cutting out the vinyl prior laying it down on the taillights.

good luck

So you cut out the reverse lights after it was on the tail light? And you didn't scratch anything?

yep, you can lift up the side of the vinyl and make the cut. i used a cardboard underneath to make sure i don't cut the lights.
