Yea if i ran a 2.09 60" I would have probably ran a 8.7 for sure. i ran one 2.09 60' at irwindale at the beginning the first run but let off early and trapped 79.8 instead of my usual 81 + trap. That run I'm sure would have been an 8.7

What were you trapping mph wise?

I saw some jeep awd srt8's run 8.7@79mph so if I get the traction I know the car has a good time in it.

try using the 1-2-3? i use it for the races and feel it's better than drive because i can let the rpms climb how i want. try shifting at 7500 too?
3.55s with a bama 91 hybrid. My trap speed is only at 78.6. I do have 235s and you have 245s do you think that's making a difference too?

That is a good deal slower than my car. I think you need to get the tune dialed in more... Have you datalogged it?

And the tires don't make a difference... are 60"s are the same.

Here's a comparison between Bama's 93R tune and MPT's 93 octane tune. Made the pass with Bama's tune, stopped long enough to load the MPT tune, then made another pass. 95° weather, launching at 2k rpm, loose MAF sensor (fixed now), and traction issues both times. The speed sensor during the Bama pass wasn't working but my speedometer never got above 80. Once I get some LCAs/UCA and the weather cools down, I'd like to try again with both tunes. Even do some datalogging until then to dial in tunes.

Wow very nice. MPT does make very good aggressive e-mail tunes.
