Advice on Cleaning Convertible Top and Wheels

Hi All....
I am a new Pony owner (3 weeks old). 2013 V6 Convertible with some pretty fancy wheels, Black over White.

Any recommendations on what to use to keep my new black convertible top looking great, as well as the fancy chrome wheels?

Does anyone take their convertible through the carwash? I am hesitant to do so.

Any recommendations on specific brands of cleaner is appreciated.

Finally, do I need to use a sealer on the convertible top? If so, how often? Thanks in advance for your advice!

Just don't take it through a touch-less car wash..

Have to ask... why not a touchless? I would think the brushes that touch the car a traditional car wash could be a problem. Thanks for your advice Billymich!

The high pressure used in the touchless washes finds all the weak spots on verts

I was going to as about top cleaning too. I noticed some cleaning kits at the auto store. They come in 2 flavours; vinyl or fabric. I would assume our tops need the fabric one. CAn anyone recommend a brand that works well? They cost approx $40 up here.

Skidmark- My roof is vinyl. Probably going to buy the recommended cleaner and a sealer recommended in the motor manual. I do not think I will try the car-wash. One never knows what they are using for cleaners.

Another thing that a lot of the more savy people don't do in here, is take your car through the car wash. Too much a chance of scratching your rims.

The 05-13s all have the same top. The best thing you can use on the top is 303 Aerospace
Keep the protectant on there

New MTang- how do you like your Dash Carpet? I have a stone interior but the dash is black and it is a glare. I saw a picture of dash carpet- not sure I like the look, but then again, it may not have been a good fit. Can you share a picture of your dash carpet? Thanks
