Oh ya. That doesn't help. Drove my car the other day in the heat and humidity, felt like a dog. Same evening after it had rained and cooled off it ran like a mofo!! On 93. Put 87 in yesterday.... What a mistake.

you information is slightly misguided.

because higher octane fuels burn slower you ACTUALLY will witness better fuel efficiency. it's slight (avg .5 - 1.0 mpg), but it's there depending on driving habits
