Ok so I am about to purchase my first tuner from American muscle and I noticed there is a bamma X4/SF4 power flash for 400$ and an Bamma SF3/X3 $380.. Difference in price is like 20$ anyone have any recommendations?

Spend the extra 20 dollars and get the x4. Once you get your tune you may want to perform a datalog to get your tune dialed in. If you get the X3 u will have to bring your laptop in your car and do it though that. With the x4 u can perform data logs straight through the tuner. Much more convenient.

If you run the street tune and have a CAI and exhaust set up you get good mileage, I get 32 highway running the 93s tune

Hi guys, new here!
I wanted to know how to get in touch with someone higher up from Bama?
I have a similar sounding problem as the topic creator. I just purchased the Bama Tuner X4 about 5 days ago. I liked the tunes but the pedal sensitivity was a bit much for me in stop and go traffic in Los Angeles ( I use this car as my DD, its my only car ).
So I went back to stock while I asked and waited for new tunes.

Problem is on stock, now when I am at stops or going slow the car accelerates itself in a jerky way. It jumps to like 2000rpm and goes back down and jumps again over and over until I can start driving. This is at a complete stop WITH my foot on the brake, it still goes forward.
It also started dying in the streets and I would have to turn the car off and back on again to get going. I can't drive it anymore, way to unsafe.
When I call Bama, they just say they will send me new tunes but I cant seem to escalate this with anyone at all. What can I do??

Hey,

Sorry about the delay and to hear about the trouble but can you please shoot me a private message with your contact info? I'm happy to work with the Bama team to have their lead calibrator get in touch about this immediately or you can shoot them a call directly at 888.226.9764 and let them know that Alex had asked that you call in!

Alex

Hey Mike,

I spoke with the Bama Team about this and we looked over the previous requests. We did some digging on this as well and the code that you're pulling is something that's very common with the 2005 and 2006 GT's. I'm going to have one of the Bama guys shoot you a call to give you a better idea of what can be done as your Mass Air Flow sensors just needs to be cleaned up!

Alex

Hello i am also having the same problem. with diablosport trinity. i have used the trinitys built in tunes, but once i recieved the bama one, it started doing this. it scared the crap out of me, as it's very snowy up here in the great white north. I'm going to try going back to stock. its like i hit the throttle car goes, let off. and then 2 seconds later throttle kicks in again but i have no foot on the gas. its rather frightening

Bump. Been back and forth with bama through 40+emails and at least 6+tunes and am still having the issue. my car is stock except for cat back exhaust and k&n filter. I dont have the problem on factory tune or stock diablo tune.
