Advancetrac Service Light

Has anyone got this light at anytime and what did you do? Mine has popped up 3 times since I've bought the car. I've done a lil research and apparently it corrects itself?

It shuts off after awhile or when I turn off the car. I called the dealer and they had no clue on it.

Mine is doing the same . Took mine to dealer they Blamed it on the progressive snap shot .
I have but and nothing showed when they ran the comp on it .
I think they didn't know what it was and its all they could blame it on...

Seems like ford techs doesn't know anything about this "service" light. I'm hoping it doesn't pop up again.

And mine just went out of warranty by about 1000 when I finally had time to take it to the dealer ship. ...

It can be a bad/loose/dirty sensor at a wheel. Loose wiring connector at the sensor has also been reported to correct the problem

Might take a look at it myself. I'm no ford tech but I'm not gunna pay $106 just for a diagnosis. I don't have no warranty since I ran out already. 50,000 miles today!

I'm creeping up there myself. I just turned 46k this morning. My advancetrac service message has only came on once... When I hit a jersey barrier. Kinda tore the wheel off, so I guess that'll trigger some trouble codes.

I have seen this a few times. Like bucko said, it has been traced to wheel sensors a few times. Try to get a video of it on your phone to show the dealer. That's the only way there going to listen to you

It's a possibility. Like said above, check all your connections for a loose end.
