I would pass on the black. Looks like you had an accident and are in the middle of getting it repainted.

Damn I hate it when it doesn't look how I picture it in my head, that's just the only chrome on the car in the grilles and I wanted to do something different

I think it does look when everything is black. Everything ties together.

Black out the grille's and it won't look so bad with the black on the bumper. With the chrome on the grilles, not so nice.

I vote also on getting the grills black as well. Maybe then it'll look good.

Just having the bumper makes it outta place.

Looking fwd to the final product tho!!!

What about all the way around, like the outter grille area?

I think inside only. That would be reminiscent of a 427 Shelby Cobra with no grill. I think you would have a hard time getting a distinct line to break it up where there isn't already a natural break, like where the hood meets the grille surround.

I still think I would stay inside. It gives depth.

Is whatever you are using to paint it with going to be easy to get the bugs off without messing up your work? I am constantly cleaning bugs off the front of my car.

I know me too and no its plasti dip once it dries you can power wash it or whatever. Best way to get bugs off, wet dryer sheet and it won't scratch your paint

I just make sure I have a good coat of wax on it and then keep up with the detail spray. I try to get them off as soon as possible.

You're lucky! I live in a small city. Five minutes in any direction and it's country driving. Beautiful, but buggy.

I already took it off wasn't what I envisioned, but I'll probably do the grilles today for sure and then maybe the mid section.
