Spent the weekend transforming my Mustang to a whole new look. Added window louvers, matte black hood stripes, gloss black roof wrap, Plastidip rims and grille pony badge. What do you all think about my new look

Finally on topic, I'm thinking about adding the Matte black 3.7 badges to complete my exterior black on white look. Would that be too much or fit the look completion. Any and all opinions will be appreciated.

Looks good, the 3.7 emblems would finish it off. Did you do the stripes and wrap yourself?

I love my V6 don't get me wrong. But putting a 3.7 would be the same as some putting a 2.4 on their car. Unless its a v8 I wouldn't put the liter size. It's different with a 4.6 or 5.0 those are big engines. 3.7's and 2.4 are nothing to brag about. Most of my friends feel the same. That's why I bought the Powered By Ford emblem. Keep them guessing.

But back to topic for you I'd leave it clean. I lie the white and black combo. It looks clean that way it is. I think the matte black 3.7 may be a little much. The only reason why I'm getting different badges is because mine came with the pony emblems and when I took them off, I was the lucky one that had the two holes in the fender. Had to cover them up.

I think the 3.7 emblems look great and when you pass someone they'll know it was a six.

Anyone who knows anything about cars can tell a v8 from a v6

At a recent dealer display put on by our Mustang club, one of the salesmen asked what that "3.7" on the fender meant. When I told him it was the engine size, he said that he thought they were all 5.0s. So much for car guys. Probably less than 5% of people on the road are car guys/gals. A car is a way to get from point A to B and nothing more.

Do you know the measurements for placing the 3.7 on your car?

There is a template around just google 5.0 emblem template or 3.7 emblem template

I still have the template when I put mine on so I'll upload it here as well.

I would personally leave any emblems off. I like the clean look you've got going right now. Not too much, not too little. I feel like it would be a little too much.

To each their own!

I have the gloss black 3.7 emblems on my mustang. I think they look good. I don't see any shame in letting people know I have a V6 under the hood. A 305 Hp car is nothing to be ashamed of.

I can't believe there is a template which shows where the emblem is supposed to go.
So there really is a 'right' way to install them? I guess that's where the 5.0 emblems are..

Different, but definitely does not fit with the lines of the car up there.
Looks like someone was to lazy to put them where they belong

I appreciate your comments!
I had thought about putting it where actually everyone does. But, I found them to be more interesting on the top. And, I definitely like the look
