I am really dissatisfied with the, from a stop, torque and wondering what you guys would suggest mod wise to increase the 'get up and go' of the 2013 V6 (auto)?
A turbo or supercharger wouldn't kick in until past the point I am talking about, so I *dont think* they would help.
I am talking about when you stop the gas from a dead start.
Right now it "slowly" gets going off the line, and THEN VROOM.
I would think some different tires, that 'grab' the street, but not sure what type of tires you would suggest and what else I could mod.
GEARS! 3.31 should have been standard in all models, autos and manuals and PP should have been 3.73s! The stock 2.73s should have never been available in a mustang! Its a mustang not a ****ing Prius!!!!!! So many people complain about these ****ty 2.73s! I hate mine. Lol

Tune, 3:73 or 4:10 gears. That will really help with the down low power. Remember, our v6 only has 280 lbs torque. They lack the torque. Great HP numbers for v6 but could use around 320 torque for a base line, I'm running a 91 race performance tune by MPT and 3:73 gears and the down low power is way better. I am chirping 2nd and 3rd gears hitting 70 mph and all with my automatic.
Alrefire has 3.55 and those meaty 12 inch tires. He still can't get traction and also has upgraded LCA. So gears aren't the best solution if you can't get the best tires and such. Think y'all.
See, I don't know what's going on where you guys live with traction issues.lol. I have the factory 17 inch Michelin tires and have zero traction issue with my 3:73 gears.
