GT500 Mufflers

I just purchased a set of take off 08 Shelby GT500 mufflers. I already converted my 07 pony package to dual exhaust and currently have stock GT mufflers on my car. Has anyone else used stock Shelby muffles on their V6? Just wondering how it sounded. Your feedback would be appreciated.

Wrong section and I hope you didn't pay too much for the GT500 mufflers. The 2008 GT500 used the stock GT mufflers for an automatic; same part number. The GT500 used lots of parts out of the stock parts bin and people will buy them because of the GT500 connection (like the side skirts, which were the same as the 2005-2009 V6 unpainted textured side skirts). Nothing was special about the GT500 mufflers until the 2010 model year.

Sorry guys, click the wrong button I guess. I paid $25. for the pair. They have a larger diameter body the stock GT mufflers. Thanks

You paid a decent price then - since it is only the stock GT mufflers for the automatic.
