You have to tap into the map light. I think you cab do that at the fuse panel under the drivers dash

I wired mine to my map lights, I ran the power up the a pillar then tucked it up under the roof panel.

+1 for pillar. On my 06, for my halo headlights and foglights to come on upon remote unlocking, I removed the passenger-side pillar and tapped into the dome light ground wire (the power wire was always powered if I remember correctly). From there, I ran the wires down the pillar and though my dash to the driver-side kick panel where I had a switch box for controlling all of my custom lighting.

So I just put in the led projection lights, everything went surprising good and smooth. I took the pic in the garage so I couldn't open the door much. What do you guys think?

Yeah, but that cheap, they are easily replaced. Just splice into the wires in the door from originals. Instead of wiring all the way again, no prob. Didn't even notice it till I saw pics side by side

The kind I have I think are specifically for the door. i think in the mirror it'll be way too big and getting them to go out at an angle is another problem because these are flush mount

Wow , definitely cool! Maybe il install one of those in my trunk! Should be roughly the same height give or take a few inches. This would've been awesome on my 99! Too bad I didn't know about em. My 14' has the pony projectors so it's all good!

I was afraid that this would happen. The plastic type lense these kits are using most likely are not going to last long.

Hey, I sell these lights, was forwarded to this forum by a customer inquiring about the fade that occurred on your films. Asking about how long mine last. Just have a few questions for you and others who did this mod.

My lights are 3rd gen, not 4th gen, 4th gen are smaller, so they don't project the image as clear I find. They also build up heat due to the led being the same size in 1/2 the housing. Is that what you guys are running?

By the sounds of it, you guys all hardwired the lights into the map light, has anybody put a switch in to control the lights so they don't run during the day/hours on end when cleaning the car, ect?

Are those pics from like 2' off the ground? Mine have the same logo but look clearer.

What's the wattage of the led? Are they Cree?

I don't know if I'm allowed to sell anything on this site without some sort of a vendor license, so I wont answer this in this thread, pm me if that's alright, and mods if it's against the rules, let me know, thanks

I don't really do much web-based competition, most of my business and marketing is local. I focus on Escalades primarily, complete exterior and interior led swapout, obviously branch out when I can. I do have lights up on EBay, for now, seems like ford is getting people removed for selling their logo, but my username is ConceptAudio12 on there.

The internet already has lots of competition, the niche market now, I find, is putting a face behind a product..
