2014+ Mustangs look horrible!!!

Who agrees with me that after 2013, the mustang body styles are going downhill as far as looks and aesthetics?

Yes. My bad. The body style for the 14' originated in 13, but have you seen the concepts that are being considered for 15'?

Haha gotcha. I've seen a few concept pics. Some are worse than others. Some look very European which i am definitely not a fan of. I do like the fact they are supposed to be cutting 300ish pounds, and taking the Coyote up to 440-450hp though.

First off, I never meant to troll or create an argument. I simply wanted others opinions and what they thought about the concept body styles that are being considered by Ford.

Obviously there's no hard evidence that these concepts will become real but looking at some of them I feel puts the mustang to shame.

On the 13' model I think the front looks similar(not exact) to a dodge charger. That's my personal opinion.

Hey,

I noticed on your build list you had Koni shocks/struts and Steeda springs. Did you have to replace the strut mounts w/ aftermarket, or can you use the stock ones?

The stock mounts are one time use. So they have to be replaced. If you're on a tight budget, a lot of people replace them with the GT500 strut mounts, and camber bolts. I personally went with Maximum motorsports CC plates as they are much stronger, and will last a lot longer.

Personally, i like both the 11-12, and the 13-14 equally. I think the 13-14 has a better looking rear, but i LOVE the 11-12 front end with a saleen or roush grille and cs fascia. Looks mean as hell.

It should be interesting. I don't really care for most of the renderings that people have come up with but it should be a sweet ride with HP increase and less weight.

In terms of appearance for S197's, this is the order I like them.

2013-2014
2010-2012
2005-2009

I think each version refines the look a bit more and more. 2005-2009 just seems so bland now compared to the 2013-2014's.

That is the hope, it appears to be working with the Mustang, but have you seen some of that garbage out there? Too many regressions in my opinion to even list.

The 2013-2014 mustangs in my opinion out class any mustang arguably all the way back to the beginning! Looks wise they are sleek and still hold traditional cues and performance wise it's not even a fair matchup to anything in the past! 13-14 are the best mustangs in my personal opinion, period. But hey if they all looked the same then what would be the point of the mustang to begin with, right?!

I agree. I understand some people don't like the sleeker look but I think it's the best looking mustang yet

Gotcha. This is my first time owning a Mustang...much less a Ford vehicle. I decided to hurry up and get a '14 - the last of the breed. I'm happy with my decision.

Your happy until the new 15 comes out, you fall in love with it. Love its new looks, greater handling capabilities and greater power. Then you sell your 14 because you should of waited to see exactly what the 2015 was offering and now your gonna take a financial loss. Lmao. Jk and congrats to your new 14.

There will be thousands out there who do that very thing. This time next year there will be thousands of low milage used 2013 and 2014 's too buy all over the place.
