bolt ons question

As some of yall know I just put in 3:55 gears one piece driveshaft and a Bama race tune but now I have a question for the track.

In the nexts month or two I will be getting long tube headers x-pipe steeda cold air intake

What numbers yall think I'll be hitting at the track?

Depends on how good a driver you are. If your a good driver you could easily get low 13's. Auto or manual?

You could easy if you invest in some slicks and dump the clutch around 4-5k . Some dude on AFM has a N/A 3.7 running like 12.7/12.8 but he sure knows how to drive

it also depends on elevation. the guy doin 12.7 (I know who you are talking about) probably is at sea level or close. you could do possibly 12.8-13.0. I hate to bring it up again but I'm a huge advocate for MPT tuning. that will cut a 1/10 off your time over the bama. it cut 2/10 of my 0-60 over the bama when I was N/A.

Dam but mpt doesn't do what bama does or do they?

You know with bama you add something new you call them and they write a new tune for whatever you added

Bama offers tunes for life.

There are pros and con's for most everything. It just depends on which one means more to you. When/if I mod the boss, I will be going with a MPT tune for gains. They offer an update to your tune for $75 if I'm not mistaken. I have researched them a little over the past few days.

That's not what they advertise so I wouldn't bank on it.

I'm running a 91 race performance tune from MPT as well. It's a night and day difference from my 91 hybrid tune. I say this with no disrespect to AM who I love and use there tunes but: the MPT tune is more powerful than the bama tunes. The MPT is a beast that is worth every dollar of the 75 MPT charges for their tune. Wow, it's amazing and one really should add it to there tune collection.

With those mods, a good driver and some traction I can see you running a high 12 in the 1/4 mile. We ran a 13.7 with our bone stock 2011 V6 (Auto)!

The long tubes, x-pipe and CAI will easily make your car a sub 13 second V6!

If you're looking to get a little more out of your tune, we can definitely look into this for you. Just give the Bama team a call and they'll help you datalog! This will allow us to adjust your tune a bit and see if there's anything else on the table. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

The hybrid IMHO is not as aggressive as the race tune. I ran them both on my 3.7. I switched back to the race from the hybrid quick BC it was that noticeably less aggressive. I had a mt-82 if that means anything.
