Hid +drl

Is there any way for me to have the projector lights such as raxioms and HID with my drl? I've heard that the drl just keeps the halo on, which I don't mind. I want switchbacks because let's be honest, they are cool.

Since ford won't disable them, time to learn about electrics and lighting and do it myself. (Safely)

FOGs and DTR running at same time

Hi WL, remember we talked about FOGs and DTR lites before at the same time?

I traded my V6 with the converted GT fogs for a 2013 GT MT82 manual V8 Same color and Premium options last Monday. It seems looking in store windows that when I put my FOGS on, the DTR (the led white whiskers) go off. My V6 Auto did not do that. IN saying Fogs are put on I mean I put it in Parking Lite Mode and Pull the Fog switch out.

When I stop the car, put it in neutral, and no parking brake, fogs and DTR Whisker lights are both on. I think something is turning them off when in gear, did you ever find out?

I really need the Whiskers and Fogs to run at the same time, even in daylight, ; but perhaps I need to test at night, but so far I have not been able to.

Art [Looks like I got a new research project]

Well. I have a 14 with stock hids and during the day it uses the led fogs for DRL. At night or with lights on it switches to hids ( I can optionally active fogs by pulling). Devising a similar thing would be really easy at any car shop worth it's salt. Lol

Humm, your outboard LED Whisker lites are not the normal DTRs? This is the trademark look of the 2013-2014s to go with the inboard HIDs.

yes now that you mention they are on, but so are the fogs. I guess that's just applicable to models with the fogs

So your GT fogs turn on as DRL as well as your whiskers with the Headlight Switch on 0[off] and/or Auto? I have not seen that yet but their is some differences in cars that could make it to Canada and those that are sent farther down.

My question is this, while driving slowing in a parking lot looking a shop window my Led Whiskers turn off if I put by headlight switch to P to pull out to turn on my FOGs. My GT switch like my V6 before it will not pull out for Fogs in the 0 [zero/off] position.

Yeah it probably only works on auto. I haven't used anything else because... Auto lol, does the job for me. And yeah, you can't pull fogs on in the off position
