I have BBK Short Tubes, FRPP Cut and Clamp X-Pipe, Borla touring and Bama Tunes on mine. Low to mid range torque is a lot better than stock, smoother acceleration across the whole RPM band with the 4K jump not being as bad.
As for not voiding the Warranty, mine is still good at my local dealer, but if I put the Throttle Body on it was voided.

yo port your throttle body like I did. I payed $75. it's the same thing as the BBK throttle body. it's jus not as pretty. the only reason why I even bothered with it is cuz I'm FI. some of the 5.0 guys say it made their 0-60 worse.

Lmao. The gas mpg are great for the 2'73 gears. The low end torque and acceleration with them are crappy.

For supercharger it makes complete sense to have a larger throttle body.

He needs to go to his dealer

Have the dealer install the performance gears and re tune the computer for the installation. I know it will cost some $$$ but at least his car will do what he wants and he will still have his warranty intact.

Just installing a throttle body without a CAI or tuning is like taking a nice shower and putting your already worn once underwear back on.

Good for five days

First day clean inside and out front and back.
Second day Brown spot in back, yellow spot in front (inside)
Third day Brown spot in front, Yellow spot in back ( Still inside)
Forth day Brown spot in back, Yellow spot in front ( outside)
Fifth day yellow spot in back, brown spot in front ( still outside)

But to get back to helping the OP.
A large throttle body is only worth doing if you have a larger set of injectors and a CAI along with a good tune that will take advantage of it.

Like I said before:
Quote:

Car will be very crisp and you will not ruin any part of the warranty.

I agree with Ronnie. I had my dealer install my gears, it cost more but they won't 'void' your warranty for something they install. Check with your dealer first. Some dealers might not do this but both of my local Ford dealers in my area would do it.

This is the best way for you to get better low end torque

Heck yeah bro. Gears will improve that down low power amazing. Side scoops also give amazing down low power and won't effect the warranty.

If you go with 3.31 gears and get your dealer to install and tune it you should be fine. Anything over 3.31 example, 3.55,3.73,390,410 requires an aftermarket tune to adjust your speedo and odometer and if your an auto your shift points also, that's where warranty issues arise. Ford does not offer a factory tune for anything over 3.31 for the 3.7.

Very well said Mister FastFord13

They can install the performance gears and it won't mess with the warranty at all. 3.31 ratio is still way better then the 2.73 if your looking for the nice crisp snappy feeling of your 3.7 V6 Mustang.

It will probably cost a little ((LOT)) more but the work and parts will be covered under your factory warranty.

Ronnie

Ronnie, haven't you figured your changing or lack of, is why nobody wants to ride in your car or have you ride in their car?

I bought this and coupled it with a tune and other mods. When you initially hit the gas, i felt a tad of difference, but other then that no change. In the end, its just another mod to add to your list. That's about it.

Ain't gonna git nuttin' for nuttin'.... you're going to have to spend money. Period.

Save up and get a tune and gears. Best mods for instant improvements.

Why not just measure what you have now, then assuming the back is higher, add the difference to the 1.5". (Probably an additional 1/2" to 5/8")
