Stripe color opinion

Why guys, what do you think? I'm wanting to stripe my car and don't know what to choose between these two colors. Silver metallic and gold metallic. Opinions? I know it's small but it's just a sample

I don't think you can go wrong with either one. I'd put the silver on mine, though.

That's what i'm leaning towards. BTW, anybody wanting to stripe their car, check out promotorstripes on ebay. They have been more than accommodating to me, sending me free samples of colors i wanted to see and answering all my questions in a timely manner. They are a great bunch of people! They will also send you an individual piece of the stripe if you mess it up on install.

I had suggested ProMotorStripes a while back for the same reasons you stated. Glad to hear they treat everyone well.
As far as color, I would go with gold. Always liked the Hertz Shelbys back in the day.

I'd go silver! The gold just doesn't seem right, to me.

I had a friend with a classic auto restoration shop install them. He charged me $200. I just wanted to make sure everything was measured out right and straight. If I ever need to replace a piece, I can just tape around it before pulling it off.

Im a huge retro fan and i love the classic muscle look of the black and gold, but love the subtleness of the silver. Hmmmmm...

Exactly the car I was talking about. Great history behind those cars also. People renting them on the weekend, pulling motors, dropping them in their own cars for the drag strip, and then swapping them back before returning them. Your car would definitely be a conversation piece.

They have the dual stripe and the big single stripe super snake style. I think for the gold i for sure would get the dual just for the throwback. I'll keep thinking about it and if i still like the gold tomorrow then i'll go ahead and buy it Has anyone ever seen a new model with the gold stripes in person?

Heck, they used to come back with grind marks where they cut the cages out of them after the race

No wrong answer, but my preference is gold. A throwback from having owned a 79 Trans Am Special Edition (Smokey and the Bandit)

Good news is.... there are places like AM and BMC that sell the stripes for less than $300 so if after a few years you get tired of the color, you can put a new color on..

Thats the best looking license plate in the country! Are they 10 inch stripes? I've been debating the gold stripes for a while now.
