Tail light tint removal

Ok guys so I saw this at AM and I think the whole 13 look they said they were developing was really just some tint. I'm in. Question is? How do I take the AM tint I have off and would this even flow with my car?

no, keep the tint.
but if you insist on taking it off.
make a small incision, and tear it all off, like window tint.
then go back with a ton of adhesive remover, and a razor, and get off all the excess..

I think he means to keep the tint & put the 13 style vinyl over it..which is what I was thinking. It would look good with the tint IMO.

Do not take a razor to your PLASTIC tail lights lol. You can use a razor on glass but these are defiantly not glass

I've seen the vinyl tint for the 13 light conversion. IMO it looks horrible and even more so up close. My vote is for you to stick with what you got unless you willing to buy a bumper to do the light conversion

I'd wait for raxium (if they ever actually do it) to come up with complete replacements. The tinting with just the block outs to look like a 13 seem a bit cheese ball to me.

I like yours now. Be proud of the 12 homie.

That's just it. AM said they were coming out with something. And I think instead of actual lights.... They did this.....

They started to but then they stopped and said they weren't going thru with the lights and they have no intentions of bringing it back up.

It's because there are no reflectors in that style light.
The 13 has reflectors in the bumper.
The 10-12 doesn't.
The lack of reflectors would technically make the car not street legal

So I'll be a guinea pig and buy both sets so if I hate the 13 I'll put the AM back on.

+1, I have a 13 and love the tail lights but I also love the 12s! I wouldn't change them, I think they look bad *** and compliment the rest of the car! Just my 2ยข.

Thought about being that broke, but I like to eat and go fast. That's where my extra cash goes

My gas is 3.89 a gallon for 93 premium and that's every week and a half.
