roush axle back or Magnaflow quad??

I love the Roush axleback sound but I kinda like the quad exhaust tips but I haven't heard much of the magnaflows ... Can anyone compare them for me? Or tell me anything?

Be careful, Some think they are way TOO loud.

You may still want to hear the audio system.

The roush are refined. The mags are just a straight pipe honestly.

I love the way the Roush sounds but how do the quads compare to them in sound? Cuz if the quads are a good deep loud sound like the roush then ill get the quads cuz they look better

I think the quads sound better or maybe just as good in my opinion either option you won't be disappoint I have just the regular competitions high rpm they sound like a racecar low the just idle like a boss!!! There is some drone around 2k-3k cruising speeds but eh they all have drone

Refined? How is "loud" in any definition refined"?

Just busting your chops!

It has less harsh overtones. I did a paper on this in college :p I think I know what I'm talking about lol resonators give it a fart can sound at 700-1000 rpm but outside the car it sounds like a small block v8 with the putter it makes. I like it better than my pypes. Alot better.

I recently got the mag quads about a month or two ago. I posted a thread to say how much I love them and was planning on making a video to post up on youtube since I saw barely anything online before I got them. I have about 3k mi on them now and they just sound phenomenal imo. Look amazing as well. After work today I will try to make a video and post it to youtube and provide you a link. Hopefully the sound quality is okay, it will be with a contour gps roam cam (no idea how the mic is). Mags are VERY deep, and some popping when shifting. Didnt think I'd like the pop prior but now just think they are perfect, wouldn't change a thing

And it's not raspy at all on a WOT launch. It'll get loud at 3k and at 4 it's just like a mellow loud like a v8 but then once it hits 5 it drops in tone and will shift. Oh that shifting crackle/ sputter, I sometimes make my car up shift to a free rev just to hear that alone. I'm happy with them minus the low idle rpm take offs and the drone of them around town under 2,000 rpm.

My popping between shifts has lessened since I added the airaid. I also notice more highway drone now, but do enjoy the growl at wot.

Here is the link to the YouTube video I uploaded a few mins ago... Its a very basic video of exhaust revs, I know not the greatest.. I will make another one in the near future with some hard accels and in-cabin sound. I am about to go out of town for the weekend though and won't have time now

Personally I don't like quad exhaust on 2010-2012 model. But it does sounds good. So its your choice. But Roush square tip gives you the best of both world, lol
