New Addition to My 14 :(

I just joined the forums but I've been lurking for quite some time haha.
Unfortunately I came here to post complain about people that have no respect for other people's cars
The picture is of two nice scuff marks right beside my driver door. There is also a small ding right above it. So that kind of ruined my Saturday...
I'm posting from the mobile app so hopefully the picture is there

What really pisses me off is that I go out of my way to park in the back of the parking lot so this kind of thing doesn't happen. But it's happened now so maybe it can just buff out
When I first saw it I just saw the little ding. I guess I didn't see the scratches be sure my car is so dirty :-\
Anyways I'm sorry that my first posts are ranting but this kind of thing really, really irritates me

---------- Post added at 12:06 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:04 PM ----------

Btw thanks for the welcome!
And sorry about your car man. Every now and then I got a little ding on my 07 but this is definitely the worst that's ever happened to a car of mine

Hi I am new on this site and still trying to figure out how everything works. But as for the comment. People don't realize the money we spend on our cars to fix them like we want them. They have no respect for our cars or the time and effort we put into them. Its all about people being jealous of what we have and what they don't. I spend a lot of time on my car trying to make it like I want it and when some idiot comes along and put a scratch in it or a ding gets me pissed off. Protect your cars and park them as far away from other cars as possible.

Oh and buy the way you guys have very nice mustangs.

It's the number 1 reason why I'm looking forward to buying a house with a garage. People put dings and scratches in my car all the time at my apartment complex. Eventually, I'll be a pro a paint repair

Tell me about it. I have a 2012 Race Red mustang that was part of a hit and run. I had modified it to look as clean as possible and some irresponsible dummy on the street completely destroyed the whole left passenger side including a shattered rear rim. Now im paying 4,000 just to fix. I took advantage of the bad thing and now im getting it painted black to have that blacked out look.

Oh my... How did they even...? That really sucks man now I feel bad coming here and complaining about my little scratch and ding
And I'm currently in college so I have to deal with all of that but like I said I park way out in the back so they had to go out of their way to park by me and scratch it like that
And a couple of days before that it had marks on it where if looked like someone had ran 3 fingers down the length of my car. No damage but Wtf? Lol

On an unrelated note I can't see the picture that I posted anymore. And I generally can't see older pictures on here. Is there a reason for that?

Yeah its crazy. Im barely 19 but i pay my own car and im going to college too. So it made it really hard for me to have to take out of my savings to pay for this incident. But things happen for a reason so we just have to take the good out of the bad

Yeah its really messed up. Whoever did that to your car is a real hater. I cant assure you though worse things are gonna happen to whoever did that to you one way or another. We have BATTLE SCARS haha
These things are unexpected and unwanted parts of life but they tend to happen so we just have to smile and keep moving forward. I hope you get to fix your car. You should buy the scratch paint from your local ford dealer thats what i did it fixes all those type of scratches and hides them pretty well

So I the to be the guy that asks THAT question...
But when someone does something like that to your cars, do you file a police report and call insurance?
Does insurance cover vandalism? And will your insurance go up because of it?

I did have to file a police report in order to file it on my insurance. I'm not sure exactly how it's classified but i did have a lower copay.
