Performance modding

WHat can I do exactly as far as power adders that isn't too much work like headers or something?

I have Cai, and exhaust. No tune and stock gears. I bought a rear strut brace and oil separator. I'm thinking engine cover and front brace now? Welcome to all ideas. I'm also building credit with my card so I figure let's use it on car parts.

Tune + gears will transform your car more than anything.

Yup gears and tuner are some of the best mods you can do.

And that front strut brace is nice too, definitely a must-have.

Strut brace is a perf. mod and worthwhile. Engine cover is an aesthetic change.
What's your budget and intent?
I agree with the tune and gears. Suspension mods affect appearance and performance too!

I have a $600 limit as it's a student card.

I ordered some headrests and paid them off already. If you have a 2005-early 2012 you will have those slanted, neck breaking head rests. If you have a later 12-14, you have the more comfy one. I ordered them at mrt direct.

What do you want more? Looks or performance?

Front strut brace looks great. Get the one that uses all four strut studs. It looks tough.

i bet thats actually a .00005 hp loss. The cigarette lighter draws power and the alt has to replace the power, essentially, causing resistance on the engine.

I like the clean boss one but what I've always wondered is... Why just. 2 nuts on each side? So it can still flex some or?

It only needs two to be effective.

Just seems to, logically, have more bracing instead of two points.

I only did 2 performance mods to my car, since I learned from a previous car that I rarely use all the HP available anyway. Tune (Which I'm still waiting on.... MPT can't supply a custom tune until SCT uploads the strategy/PCM code for my car which it hasn't done yet.) and 3:31 from 2:74 gears. That's it. I'm more into appearance mods these days
