So if I want to take mine off can I just take the bumper off and take the whole grille out or does it even come out ?

If that's the case then why do all grille replacements say they don't fit the pony package ?
Or is that just cause its a pain in the *** to get out

They don't fit because of the Chrome Bars on it.
On my 2010 I stuck my fingers through the grille and yanked, came right out.

Which grille are you switching to? I was going to switch my pony package grille to the base grille, but ended up just plasti-dipping the chrome bar and border around the emblem and it looks awesome.

My understanding is that the Pony Package grill is a one piece grill, including the bezel which is integrated into the grill. In order to replace the PP grill with an after market (eg Roush) you need to also buy the bezel separately for the grill. I believe the bezel is about $100 from Ford. Thought about doing what you are doing, but changed my mine.

Very clever. You're posting random letters in a whole bunch of topics just so you can hawk your grills? Yeah the members are totally going to dig this. You really know your customer base. Hotshot salesman right there... -.-
