Question for my exhaust

I got roush axle back's and I love them but I'm getting really tired of my friends saying that my car makes fart noises and sometimes sounds like a Honda is there any way I can make it not so raspy And if you know anything to make it even sound better

Ditch those axle-backs man. Ik that may cost $$$ and I'd try to suggest a few things, but you're working with a V6 and I hear those Roush's only like to be on GTs with cats still on.

^^^^^ you shouldn't give advice if you don't have them to hear for yourself! Op if you love them who really cares what your friends think?! Are they the ones paying for it? But if you want, for around 60$ you can add a couple of small resonators in the exhaust line that will tone it down. If you did enough research you should have know they are very loud and a bit raspy?! It doesn't take much research to determine that, and if you love them I wouldn't change anything to please someone else.......not even my wife! Lol

What do your friends drive? If it's a lesser car than look at them and smile smugly. If they have V8's hang your head in shame.

He wanted 'not so raspy' and they are quite raspy (nothing wrong with that), but I stand behind the members who posted after me... If you love 'em dood who cares what your friends think.

@FastFord13 I just realized you own a set of the Roush ABs as well, haha. I'm a Borla guy myself. My apologies.

Borla bro. best on the market IMO. I got Borla atak with catted x pipe n shorty headers with 18 in resonators. some random guy said I had a high quality car and asked me if it was a 5.0. Borla S type would have probably been a better option if you plan in going x pipe route but I'm happy with it. sell roush save n buy Borla if you don't like the roush. I personally love the roush also but Borla is more suitable for me. it's all in your opinion bro. if your friends don't drive a better car give them the finger! jk

Well my thing was, I heard them outside a car. Never rode with them. I got mine for $300 though so I'm ok with it.

Lol, It came down to the Roush and ataks for me, but I also wanted the gt500 spoiler so the price is what made my decision. Got the spoiler and Roush for roughly the same price as the ataks alone, I'm very happy with Roush hopefully I'll have a large sum of money put aside one summer to pick up the ataks!

The Roush are loud and raspy. That's their nature. Sure you can get new friends, but many will continue to tell you this with them on a V6. Get used to it and develop an attitude!

I've voiced my anti Roush opinion many times here; I had a set for all of two hours. I ended up with a set of GT500's.

But if you like, then that's what matters. You're making the car payments.
