tbh I didn't do my own work on my procharger. I didn't even ask how. I jus said here is a procharger put it on. he said he made "minor fabrications". I didn't ask him what cuz I was in a hurry at the time. if you want I can call him n ask him exactly what he did. I got 4.10 gears full bolton full suspension Dyno tune at 10 lbs. aluminum DS of course. my advice is go to a mustang shop where they specialize in mustangs. or a Dyno. they will give you every thing you need to know

yup. I'm getting my motor forged next month though. I haven't been on the pedal lately. I'm sketched out too much even though my mechanic says it's okay.

It was my understanding not to set more than 8 pounds boost on factory motor unless one builds up the motor? Is that not correct? My understanding 8 pounds boost is perfect and safe on a stock motor. With bolt on mods, you should be 425 rwhp area. Sweet. Huge sleeper

the dude that set up mine worked for ford racing. that's why I trust him. my car is so fun also. lovin the looks of those camaros faces when I smoke them (mainly v8s). their v6s never had a chance.

That's priceless. The other great thing about the procharger system is that its not putting any stress on the engine when normal conditions because its not creating boost. The boost goes out the vacuum but no added stress or loss fuel mpg running normal at 2500 to 3k rpm's. The boost is created when you nail it and the rpm's jump up.

I got mine for $4500. on website it's $5200 for base. I paid $500 for install but I know the guy really well and he's a good friend. expect install to be around $1k at the bare minimum. when ordering your procharger I recommend getting all the optional upgrades except the helical gears unless you don't like the sexy whine.

Did that include the injectors and programmer for the 4500?

4500 was a deal with my friend. the procharger from the website come with 60 lbs injectors. I got 80 lb injectors. those make a significant difference. I did get the programmer but ditched it for the Dyno. you won't be able to get the procharger for $4500 on the internet unless you cut a deal with people on here or craigslist.

I can't say I've installed a Procharger on a 13-14 3.7 yet. We did install one on our 2011 3.7, but I'd like to know the "minor fabrications" that are required to use a 11-12 kit on the 13-14's. If you come across this info during your install, give me a shout. I'd definitely be interested to hear about your experience!

That's a good question. Let me check in with my guy that deals directly with Procharger. He'll be able to get a more accurate answer for us. I'll post back when I have word!

Can't the manufacturer, "procharger" tell you what "minor modifications" are needed for the 2013 V6's? It has to be bracket related to clear the hood maybe? As I cannot think of any other differences in the Mustang for the V6 between 2011 and the 2013.....engine remained identical, but the body changed a bit (hood, front bumper cover).
