Jack & jack stand point

Did a search on jack placement for the 2013 and appears ford recommends only using the jack points marked on the rocker panel. My question is if I use this point to jack the car up, how do I go about placing the jack stand in the same location? I've read the unibody point and rear axel is a no-no with our cars. Any advice? Thanks

We have a car lift in our garage. I use the Fran point right behind the front wheels and the joint where the lca meet in front of the rear wheel. So far no problems. My little scissor jack have out once and I bought a new one from Walmart for $30. Still better than ford; wanting $75 and I still use those jack points. No issues so far

Got the same walmart jack. Works great. Good to know those points have worked for you with no problems. Thanks

For added safety get a hard rubber block or a piece of wood to go between your jack and the car.

I have used the middle of the K-Member in the front and the rear end in the back in my 13 and also on my 10 when I had it. My AC Delco Jack Stands fit in the jack stand points in the front and I set the rear on the Axle next to the lower control arms, I always use a block on the jack and use old wax pads on top of the stands on the front.
