2010 4.0 CAI

Look to get a CAI for my 2010 V6.....looking around, I find a lot of 2005-2009 listings....assuming these will work? Is the 2005-2009 mustang v6 engine bay configured the same way?

JLT I do believe made the only 2010 V6 CAI. It does require a Tune also.
The 2010 has the anti lock brake controller there and the body although close is still different.
I still have the one off my 2010, PM me if interested.

I had ABS on my 2006 4.0 and used the C&L intake with no problem. The ABS didn't look different on my friend's 2010. And he and I both had the Xcharger Xtreme on the car with no problems. I didn't think that there was a difference

That's one way and right between the airbox and the driver side headlight will be a silver box with 6 silver hard lines vertically coming out of it. That's the ABS

ABS wasn't standard on the 2010 models? What about a cassette player, or was the standard radio an AM/FM only?

I can't believe I pick up a mustang that has one option for a cai. 2010 model with 4.0.....classic. Guess I'm getting a drop in k&n. Seem pretty silly to spend so much for so little gain.

I thought abs was standard on all cars past like 2004. My 2002 didn't have it but on the newer cars I thought it was just standard. Stand on your brakes, safely, and see. If you lock the tires, you don't have it. If it fights and pulls and brake, you got abs.

I thought the 2010 was the exact same as a 05-09. Just exterior, basically, no offense, paying for half the car than the 2011-2012 models.

Same motor but not sure it's the same setup and dimensions. First time having a car with a battery near the firewall and not the front of the car.....only way would be to put 05-09 next to my 2010. Might be a spring thing anyways. Winter is upon us in NY.....high of 45 all week

ABS are required on all new passenger cars sold in the EU since 2007. In the United States, the NHTSA has frequently considered mandating anti-lock brakes on light vehicles, but has refrained as a result of concerns testing procedures and real-world crash data that failed to meet expectations.

However, I'd double check again. Your Mustang should have ABS; it was not an "option" that you or the person that bought it initiallly would request.
