Halos or Splitters?

I'm working on my build list and have hit a conundrum: I have a candy red 2011 V6. I want to do something with the headlights. I really like the looks of both the splitters from AM and the Raxiom smoked halo projectors. They would look absurd together (IMHO) so I have to choose one. (BTW: eventually I want to add the Pony Delete Billet grille but it may be a while before I get to that one.)

In your opinion, which looks better? (The images below are not my car but look the same as my front end with each option.)

Smoked Halo Projectors (but on a race red)

Thanks for your opinion(s)!

It's your car man, do what you like best!
However, I definitely like the raxiom lights better. I think they look great and you would definitely get some compliments

Those halos in that picture make the Mustang look cartoonish, like something out of the movie "Cars".

OMG I never noticed before - especially from the angle the picture was taken. That is hilarious, I can totally see it now!!

Talking

Thanks, Bucko, you may have ruined the halos for me. Now I can't NOT see the face. When I look at the picture here I see a face with a tiny little mustache on the upper lip. I'm cracking up here!!!

I considered halos once!! Somebody set me straight. . Went with cobras that have the black housing.

I say do the black housed lights with the splitters. Will look sharp and you'll still be able to see at night.

The stock headlights have black housings. Kinda cool actually. But go aftermarket and the chrome will be off where as oem is nice and shiny.
