Roash axle backs

Hearing a lot of different opinions about roush axle backs. I want a nice loud roar that's not droned in the cabin. Are roush a good choice?

I love mine but they are not for everyone.

I have roush on mine along with shorty headers and I love this setup so far! Deepened my exhaust, but still had that nice roar.

Just roush alone it's nice at low, but like everyone will tell you it gets pretty raspy at high revs. You can fix it with resonators and such.

Drone is not bad but it is definitely there. Best way to fix it, music up loud haha.

Roush definitely makes a great axle back exhaust. They're not to loud when cruising, sound great at idle and really loud at WOT! If you have just the axle back, you won't have much drone. But once you get Headers and an O/R mid-pipe you may experience some slight drone and it gets really loud!

I've ran the Roush, Borla ATAK, Flowmaster Outlaw and Corsa Extreme on my 2011 GT and my personal favorite is definitely the Corsa. It's a little bit more expensive but it sounds perfect! Really lout at WOT, sounds stock at idle and zero drone!

I hope any of this information helps. Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future!

I have the Roush and there is a drone between 1500-2000 RPM. Its not terrible, but its there. Other than that they are awesome.

A friend of mine has the Roush. They are too loud for my taste. They do drone around 2k RPM. It bothers me but he does not seem to care.
I had the Bassani for a while. They sounded great but they had terrible drone at about 1800- 2200 RPM. I sold them a few months ago and put stock mufflers back on.
Personally I'm looking at the Borlas. I really want to hear them in person though.

ROUSH! They sound awesome when you stomp on the gas at around 3000-3500.

I enjoyed mine when I had them. They droned badly but this was at 75-80 mph. At 65 to 70 it's not bad at all. They drone the worst at 2k or 1800 rpm. I liked the depth and I would only suggest resonators if going long tubes or get very small ones if all stock exhaust. I had 22" resonators and I didn't like the fart can tone then. But I enjoyed them without resonators. Mine are also for sale at the moment for $275 no tips.

Bro buy borla s type with a cai and shorty headers - closest to the grumble of GT. No drone, just plain rev-music to your ears.

In my opinion, this will be the safe/best bet. Rather than getting roush and then hating on them for not being on par with your expectations.

Just my 2 cents
