Factory remote start

hello
i just purchased the ford factory kit for remote start
i haven't got it yet
it looks plug and play

is there any issues i should be concerned with?

You need to find a spot to put the receiver in the car, so It might look a little tacky to have it on your window.

I would make sure the range is what you would like and to see if you can add other features other that just remote start, like:

Air Conditioning/defrost
Open windows
Car finder
If convertible, open top.

Also make sure it's in neutral (if standard transmission) when parked and E-brake applied.

There have been many that have reported their car against the garage wall or door when they forgot.....

is there a sight where i can download the factory schematics?
if not i will have to get the factory manual .
