It's what you do when you buy a Boss to race, and are really, really serious in reducing weight!

This car will never see the street

It is a dedicated race car and will not be used on a public highway. You would not want to anyway.
Apparently the OP is going to be driving his car so I really doubt if he wants to go this far.

I think one of the most difficult, overlooked or just plain skipped mods to reduce weight is driver! And the overall benefits extend way beyond a quicker car!

My previous comments and pictures were in jest to some who might think that removing seats, back seats, plastic panels, etc, were a good solution to weight reduction. I should have posted the race website that these pictures came from. It's a Boss that was bought from Ford strictly for racing:

Home

It does however show what can be done when weight reduction is at it's most important factor. For the street, no. For all out racing, absolutely.

Murica!!!
As far as weight reduction,
I've got
Driveshaft, shaved some weight from exhaust, lightweight forged wheels (on the way), rear seat delete, removal of the rear seat belt and other components (came out to 6 lbs XD)
I'd say all in all it's be 70-80 lbs :p
