Electric Cutouts

Based on what I understand, electric cutout is a control thing for your exhaust volume. Is that correct? Does it sound good on 3.7?

The cutout is installed prior to the muffler, it would be louder at the least. There are several posts on YouTube, but I didn't see any 6's......good luck

I didn't know you could put cutoffs wherever you wanted. I've inly heard of them being right where the headers meets the mid pipe so when you hit the switch the cutouts change between full exhaust or open headers.

Usually it's pretty drastic. YouTube it. Tons of video showing cars that use them as well as explanations of the cut outs.
