Need some insight from other owners..

Hey all, Im in my first year of college right now and I own a 2012 v6 auto withabout 24k miles on it. I do have a CAI and a Bama Tuner in the box still. I was thinking about returning that and getting the $600 back and saving it. I am really craving a 2011 5.0. How much could I get for trading my 2012 in versus privately selling? What would be the best route for swapping this out for a 5.0? Thank you guys for all of the help!

assuming its a basic v6 with no options, trading its worth about 14k, private sell its worth 15k in my area.

go to kbb and check off all your options and you'll get a much more accurate figure. trading it in will get you what you want quicker, but you'll prob get a bit more out of selling it yourself.

^ This is what I would recommend. If you're serious about selling/trading in your 2012 V6, go to Kelly Blue Book and you'll get a very accurate estimate. There you can select your options, miles, condition etc.. and they'll give you an estimated trade in value, resale value and private sale value!

Hope this helps! Let me know if we can be of any assistance with returning your items.

Only one, do you guys carry a spec stage 3+ clutch kit for the 03/04 cobras?
My pressure plate has gone bad and the fingers are ticking.
Worst sound ever.

We don't have the Spec Stage 3+ for the Cobra at this time. But we do have a lot of great clutches for your Mustang. Have you thought about Exedy or Mcleod? Check out the Clutches we offer for your Mustang and let me know what you think!

Hope this helps.

I've been tossing this idea around aswell..but i came to the realization that it's not really smart for a second year college student (myself) to own a $25000-30000 car. I spend enough on mods on a 3.7. mods for a 5.0 are even more.. plus an extra 100 a month payment, more and gas and insurance goes up. it's just not practical for someone in college. However you can bet ill be getting a 5.0 when i graduate.
