Exhaust?

Hey guys i had a question, i didnt see it covered anywhere else but if one wants to upgrade their exhaust would it be better to go with a catback exhaust? or axelback?

Depends on if you are just looking for sound or if you want to spend the extra cash to increase performance.

Just sound? - Axle-backs
Performance? - Cat-backs

There's a thread about 10 threads down called "Catback or axelback?" that answers this same question.

Catbacks won't net you any extra gains, they just make your pipes look nicer.

Most people just like the change in sound. One issue to watch out for, is the effect on the performance. If you free up the exhaust flow, it can increase high end performance, but at a cost to the low end performance.

The big issue most have, is that certain setups will result in low frequency drones at highway speeds which can get on your nerves, or make you drowsy.

Ah ok thanks guys, i thought catback increased performance more then axel, but thanks for letting me know the difference, was looking at the V6 RTR exhaust
