Glad i came across this thread. I've got my 2002 GT in storage at the moment, and figured i'd go over and start it every couple weeks to charge the battery. Guess i'll get a battery tender now. Good info Fellas.

I really don't know if that is going to be good for the computers.

I wish I knew
With the sophisticated computers in these newer car I would think not having power for long term storage would likely have some effect on the memory. Like I say:"I DON"T KNOW"
Any answers we get on this forum will probably be GUESS WORK and I still won't know.
I'm going to my dealer for an oil change so I'll ask them. I'll let everybody know what they say. Of course, Living in Florida they may not know either.
