Yeah the higher the number the more color you get. I've been thinking about changing my factory bulbs out for 8ks.

Higher the temperature, lesser the visibility on road.

If you're going for looks: yeah sure go for 8K..they be blue.

If you want HID look plus excellent night time visibility: 5000K

Nope, stock are 4300K, and are 35W D3S HID bulbs (2013-14).

Just for peoples reference, I've been doing some digging. The factory bulbs in our cars are the D3S. They are a "green" bulb because they are mercury free. Apparently though they are not used in but a few select vehicles, mostly fords.
As a result I have not found a lot of replacement bulbs. You can find the factory ones no problem, and PIAA makes a 6000k bulb. I may go ahead and get the PIAA ones. There are some 8k out there but I'm not sure the places that sell them are super legit...

Please buy the proper headlight housings for HID. Using these in a non projection headlight housing, such as those in the 05 to 09, causes the light to splatter, and blinds oncoming drivers.
