Adjustable UCA and panhard bar

I was looking into buying an adjustable UCA and pan hard. My question is, how do I know how to adjust them? Obviously I know how to adjust them, but how do I know when I've adjusted them too much or too little? Should I just bring it in to a shop and have them do it so I won't mess anything up?

The panhard bar is a simple adjustment. There is a YouTube video that explains it. The UCA I don't have much knowledge but would like to know as well!!!

The adj panhard bar is very straight forward. The video posted above gives a perfect guide. Now the UCA is a little more tricky. The reason for the adj UCA is to retain the proper pinion angle of the pinion to driveshaft. This will require a special angle measuring unit specifically for measuring the pinion angle. This tool is usually relatively cheap.

Regardless, if you're adjusting the pinion angle for the first time you may want to do it with someone with experience. As it can get a little frustrating if the angle is off. Or even better yet, take the car to an alignment shop for a perfect install.

Hope this helps you some!
