DUH ! WHY ??????

That is really nothing I would ever want.
Besides, Wiring it into your system will probably give your PCM a fit.
Way to bright for a license plate light.
Not enough reach for a backup light.

Shouldn't give you any issues as long as you run 12v to it.
Direct swap out LEDs that fit in the original lenses will give you a great result.
Not a fan of seeing the bulbs directly.

Agreed on the direct bulb swap. I did that on mine and it's perfect.

Wayyyyyy too much light.

I got the Raxiom LED license plate lights for my 10GT this Christmas and the only reason I've kept them in (they're too bright IMO, also kinda dissapointed they're blue-ish white and not true white) because my father got them for me.

Yup I did the bulb swap on mine because it kept blowing the stock bulbs and yellowed the lenses. So far the LEDs have not blown yet.

That bar is just way too much. To be honest not sure you want to mod like that.

Thanks for your posting, I was trying to decide whether to purchase the bulbs myself. Looks like this will help me make up my mind.

No problem. I'm probably going to replace them with 3rd result in the link below (they're only $1.89/bulb and come in "natural white" - a pure white).

I've also found the super bright and "cool white" bulbs Raxiom is currently selling for $29.99 for $7.95/bulb (the 2nd result in the link below).
