My chin spoiler is ripping off need help

So I just bought a brand new 2014 mustang and with some dips in the road I somehow managed to mess up my chin spoiler half of the spoiler is coming off I look under it and it pulled the screws out and broke the holes so I was wondering what can I do just to fix it should I just put more screws threw it? But I'm afraid if I do that I'm going to just break the bumper if I try to drill new holes

Have any pics of the damage? If it's not that bad you can get some self tappin screws and drill them in.

You probably ripped out some of the J-clips that hold the screws on the bumper panel. Not something you can find easily, as I recently found out. You can get a replacement base unit from CJ Pony Parts for about $100. Another option is if the remains are damaged in the right places, you might put a Roush splitter on it since it requires removing a couple of strips from the top.

If the holes aren't stripped just get a little bit longer screws and some washers that's what I did on a buddy's car

It looks like you might get by with some new J-clips. The existing 7mm units are hard to find, so you may have to look around. Make sure to get the ones for plastic. Remove the existing screws and clips. The clips are consider single use, but if you are careful and lucky you can reuse some. You may have to carefully select some alternate locations to fasten it, drill a ⅛" pilot hole, and then drill the bumper cover out to ¼". Then insert the clips and screw together. Also, there are three plastic push rivets in each corner that may be pulled out and need replacing.

Looks like a good opportunity to,install a rough chin spoiler. It comes with all the clips you need and it (IMO) looks better than the default spoiler. I have a 2014 as we'll and it makes the car look even better. Just my two cents.

If your getting the Roush no you won't. You cut some of the stock one up to use as a template for the Roush. It really just uses it's end pieces to connect to the inside of the fender where the stock one did.
