I have been told that unless you have forced induction [blower/turbo], the stock TB can move more CFM than the engine can consume. [Which is why I didn't buy one] Your Milage may very, listen to others posted comments as well and make an informed decision.

There is ALOT of mixed reviews on this. Some say it works some say it's not worth it.

I hear it works best with the BAMA tune.

I had the full set up you listed above before selling. With long tubes and x pipe you do notice a difference from about 2-5k rpm for sure. I wouldn't pay $410 though.

It was the last part I put on so it was noticeable but nothing out of this world.

Worth it if it was selling for 100 to top 150 bucks. Not 400 bucks. F that crap. Not worth the 400 dollars. Look for one pre- owned and I would buy it for 100 dollars. I have a full exhaust system with long tubes and off road x pipe. Us 3.7 guys really need a larger intake manifold then add the BBK throttle body.

I added this part after a full exhaust and intake setup. I noticed a slightly deeper tone @ idle and an increase in lo-end torque. I am able to break my wheels loose now on command.
The increase in grunt is also a bonus.
worth it for me, I have heard other member noticing minimal gains.
It works well with my combination of parts and long gears.
A tune helps!

Having the intake manifold ported would be a better mod for the money.

Lol. I would look for a pre owned one if you really want one. I personally wouldn't pay over 150 dollars for one but I have seen used ones go for 200 dollars. 400 dollars is insane.

I completely agree on the price for the BBK TB, $300 new is the max they should be charging which would bring the used price down to that sweet spot of $150 easily. The new ones are over priced by $100. Just my
