What's the fastest trap speed so far since you're in the sharing mood?

Anyways, it looks like a strong running car. Good job.

My wife's nitrous car ran 6.99 @ 100 so there is definitely more in that timeslip. Congrats

Glad to see a timeslip! 11.5 @ 125 is I think what most would expect on 6-8 psi and the stock converter. If you can beat CFM on the stock motor and converter I will be impressed because they are cutting a 1.6 60'.

No, it was a full weight Fox with an AOD. Just referenced that to show the capability with your mph.

We have the converter just waiting to see if we want to put it in or not. It's only fair competing against them but for you guys you know what it can do stock motor stock converter and that's not even all the way tuned. It's on 9 pounds

You have made countless claims to the fastest 3.7 and obviously you have fallen short for now. I really hope you take a step back and a deep breath, while learning from you first foray as 'famous media'. Though bolting on a turbo kit is far from groundbreaking I wish you success in moving forward.

Humble and forthcoming to your failures and success stories will earn you a hell of a lot of respect rather than a string of, You just hatin Bro.

Remember, you are trying to step up and represent the 3.7 community. Even if it's bull**** do so in a professional manner and be honest. We car guys have been around a long time and reputation, good or bad sticks like glue. No one comes off the trailor and runs 100%. We all know that and tend to be insulted when someone can't or won't back up record claims. I wish you luck but please learn going forward.

Nice time, could you try the kit with street tires next time you're at the track, to see those times.?

That's an impressive time nonetheless. Nice nice times, trapping close to a stock 2013 Gt500 which is rated at 660 hp is nothing to laugh at! This just made my decision much harder

What is your midpipe setup? You have the log manifold on the drivers side, but what are they bolted up to going back?

On my car we just have it dumped about a foot past the front wheel. But the kits we are having them meet the stock exhaust.

Whether or not there are numbers or videos or Dyno runs, I am still thinking about that killer rev and blow off valve as I pull up to a stop light.

The whistle is crazy now too that the turbo is broke in. People know what's going on and it's super fun to drive and drives like a perfectly normal car and gets sweet gas mileage till you get on it then all hell breaks loose

The procharger is carb compliant so I could run it in California, and that's why I was leaning towards it but this kit is making some good numbers. The procharger wouldn't be as fast as this and the install would take like 6-8 hours... I can install this kit and take it off and put it back on if the install time is actually 3 hours. So I'm really deciding between the two...also maintenance between the two. I haven't really seen a procharged car run any better than a 113 trap speed though...

I've had both and I can tell you the turbo is way better especially the tq. It's just dumb the difference it makes. 3 hours is like maximum too if you have 2 people you could probably do it in 2 or fast and taking it off is almost faster. Well there is zero maintenance with the turbo so that's always a bonus

Do you think it would work as well with a manual? Would any trans upgrades be recommended?

To trap 125 6 or 8 psi is not going to do it. More like 12. Plus without a converter there is no way he is gonna cut a 1.5.

To run with street tires will reveal a lot of smoke.

It was on 9ish pounds haven't got it to 12 yet. I am gonna see if I can do it with a converter.

I'd have to feather it a lot to get out of the hole at all.

Probably better with a manual because you could launch it harder! Just a driveshaft and a clutch for the manuals

Flipping the header and pulling the front fascia will take a lot of guys 2 hours. How is it that you are doing a complete install in 3 hours.

I swapped my front bumper in less than an hour (the first time)
Once you get good at it, it takes no more than 10 mins...

Right buy you are also hanging an intercooler and hooking up all the piping. Then you are running all the new hot side piping and tying into the existing exhaust. If you have someone who is truly familiar with the kit and a good helper maybe but I'm not sure Joe average has a chance in hell at doing it that quuckly.

Again there is no flipping the header it's a custom kit with a log manifold. Pulling the front facia takes like 10 minutes tops then there is 4 bolts for the intercooler. Then you cut and t the coolant lines for the turbo. Then mount the turbo on the manifold, bov pipe goes to turbo and intercooler. Then cross pipe and down pipe to existing exhaust literally like 7 pieces

Plus everything is v band so don't have to worry about t4 flanges and gaskets.
