How much you going to spray?

It will make alot more than 750.
If you made 600 on 18.

30 psi + bottle.

Not sure we are just playing with the idea right now. Gonna use it for bottom end because all the v8s hit so hard down bottom

OK bc I was going to say a 100 shot on e85 would put you over 700 alone on 18 psi.

On e85
On a 150 - I put down about 180
200- was around 250

Nitrous loves e85

I'll be at SCT, my buddy is dynoing his 1300 whp GT500.

Hopefully they show the curves, I care more about that than numbers, but it will still be interesting to see what it makes. 100% stock top end?

Can we take the pissing contest elsewhere and keep your builds to your respective threads?

Quite honestly, I don't care and I don't imagine others do either. Let others decide what route they want to take by posting measureable results and figures. Not What Ifs or I'm planning this.

You should try to have a passing contest! Meet half way to a drag strip when his build is done.

How about a bored and stroked 3.7 with forged internals, bolt ons, and an aggressive tune. I think it could push close to the turbo numbers. Forged and bored is doing it right. Forced induction is cheaper but sacrifices longevity. Didn't this kid just need new head gaskets on his car due to over boost? Just saw it in another thread. Not worth the money followed by maintenance. Bore stroke and forge will get you a long lasting and powerful engine. Or just drop the damn boss 5.0 in in which is 10k as a crate motor from ford.

A bored and stroked motor wouldn't really do anything. The biggest you could go is a 4.0 which would maybe make 300 to the wheels nowhere close to a turbo. Forged is good though. A boss motor isn't any different than a regular 5.0 besides the exhaust cams and a little better valve springs.

If a bored and stroked is only 300 whp why does a regular 3.7 with headers, Intake, exhaust, x pipe, and tune make that? I would think it would be more if it was bored and stroked. I was under the impression the crank was from a 4.2 and that it was a 4.2 stroker motor if done right. And how is the turbo holding up? I have seen three posts about blown head gaskets recently on turbo builds.

Just makes it flow a little better but you can't rev as high. No its not a 4.2 crank, I've never even heard of a 4.2 ford motor. It's holding up great been making 600+ for about 2 months now no blown head gaskets or anything. I haven't heard anything about that, mines fine and it's got 40k on it and our tt coyote has about 30k on it and no blown gaskets. Basically all our turbo cars are good no blown head gaskets

You sure there hasn't been issues with your kits and turbos. Isn't this the guy who started the thread?
Jimc
Got it right now - 2013 3.7, turbo - broke 2 pistons and maybe head gaskets. We think it was an overboost situation (and yes, it was tuned of course). We were supposed to be set up for 7 - 8 lbs of boost but on the last test drive the gauge went from vacuum of 20" to "0" on the boost and didn't move so not sure how much we were actually pushing; may be a bad boost controller so when I get the "autopsy" finished on the engine I plan to put an electronic controller with overboost protection on the new engine.

And no, Ford won't warranty it. The car that Ford built ran fine, the car I built is the one that failed.
