Random question: how much boost are you planning to run? Do you have forged internals for your current turbo setup?

Arent the psi level to make same amount of power different for turbo and superchargers? For example, they say 5-6psi turbo makes around 475hp at crank on our v6.. The same amount on 8-9psi on a procharger.. At least that's what I heard and IF its true, wouldnt 9psi on a turbo be too harsh on stock internals?

I know a guy who blew his engine at 9psi as soon as he put it on dyno. It was twin turbo though.

Generally turbos are more efficient and can do a little better on torque. For example on the new 5.0s with a supercharger on 9 psi makes about 550 hp and 425 tq. With our single turbo set up on 6 psi we made 550 for both.

The psi effects things to a certain point but as long as there is proper tuning and the kit is built properly and you shouldn't have problems.

305 HP with 7.5 psi or 1 1/2 atmospheres makes the engine think it's 340 inches! That said 420 lb.ft. of torque should be on tap. That's 12.75 with a good tire. Electronic dash boost control would be nice.

We are thinking we are gonna get about 15-20 hp per pound but we think we are gonna make a little more tq than hp. What do you mean do you mean by electronic dash boost control?
