If you have a buddy it would be a great help. Driver side is the easiest. The only big pain is getting to the bolts in a tight space. It's doable just takes a lil time.

I'm still using the bbk gaskets and haven't had a problem.

I reused the oem gaskets when I put LTs on my old 3.7 & didn't have a problem! Also if I have one of these it'll make ur life easier when reaching those manifold bolts...

After the install you will be more than happy to pay a shop $300 to install. it's quite a PITA. I would pay a shop before i did it again.

Will this do or does it have to be adjustable? Also should I reuse the stock gaskets or use the bbk supplied gaskets? Thanks again.

My first set of headers cracked and caused a leak. Stick with the stock metal gaskets just be careful they can cut flesh very quickly!

The adjustable head is what helps get to those bolts because they're angled awkward! When I 1st installed them I didn't have the tool I showed u but I still got it done! But when I took them off (to trade my car in) it made it a lot easier..still a PITA to get those bolts but it helped me a ton! As for the gaskets I heated the bbk ones aren't better than the oem ones so I reused mine & had 0 problems!

Shorty header install

I used aftermarket but can't remember... Wasn't bbk though because I got my headers used. It was a major brand though that I used.. Some reuse the oem and have good luck but for the 40 bucks or so I would go with a new set because if it leaks you are screwed and have to tear it all apart. I would have used the oem but the dealer needed a few days to get them and I had aftermarket ones in a few hours.

Fel-pro just remembered. They were aluminum coated in gasket sealant and they sealed perfect.

Make sure everything goes in well before you put them on! We didn't when we did mine and the driver's side was cross threaded and was a PITA to get it fixed
