MAF replacement & installation

Given my history of idling problems & flat out stalling. I've been advised to replace my MAF.
Is it just a case of unplugging the battery, moving the old one & installing the new one? I'd rather do it myself then double the cost by paying labor etc.

That's exactly all there is to it.
Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery.
Unplug the MAF.
Unscrew the MAF from the intake hose.
Reverse the process with the new MAF.
Boom - you're done!
