1st off any form of street race talk is not allowed on this forum, so i went ahead and edited out that part of your post....

And you have a pretty sophisticated automatic transmission, all you need to do is leave it in drive and put your foot to the floor, you will shift faster than any manual transmission.

Everyone and their mother has told me the same thing. Kinda disappointed that I only get to just sit there haha...in a sense.

Atleast you won't have to worry about stalling in rush hour traffic or missing a gear.

I have tried manually shifting from 1st to 3rd with the auto transmission and believe or not if you just leave it in Drive it will shift faster that way. In my old cars shifting manually with the auto transmission was faster, but with the newer cars or at least this Mustang transmission its better to leave it in drive since the computer handles so much of the shifting patterns now.
