since the DRL is controlled through the SJB there isnt a way to turn it off, i have taken it in to the dealer, researched the net. there are no other alt to this issue of getting rid of the DRL other than to replace the SJB with one programed for a non DRL mustang. my question is, would it be plug and play? there are some on ebay used i can buy. if not what would i need ? it is a automatic premium. thanks for the help!

A few weeks ago, someone else posted on eliminating the DRL's on their Canadian Mustang. I think he ended up giving up on the idea that he could have something flashed/programmed "legally", and ended up buying non DRL headlight assemblies, and an adaptor harness to connect the existing DRL harness to a non DRL headlight assembly.
Otherwise, the dealer can do it, but for a fee. There are dozens of posts on this subject here on this site; they all come down to getting a dealer to turn them off, or replacing the headlight assemblies and buying a harness adaptor to use the late model headlight assemblies.

I've taken it to the dealership and it can't be turned off as it is a fleet model. The sjb needs switched or a bypass of some sort would be required.

Following. It's the brain of the car. Best to leave it to someone of dealer knowledge but not working for a dealer
