Try getting the magnaflow mufflers, the skinny ones. They're louder than the roush.

If ur gonna keep the roush ab then add LT headers, o/r x & resonators. Without the resonators it's gonna sound like a tin can!

U can get resonators at an exhaust shop, online at summit racing & even at autozone. Some people even buy them off of someone that cut them off their 5.0! On my 3.7 I had the bbk LT headers & x pipe & I had no issues with it!

Louder than Roush? A straight pipe right out of the exhaust manifolds is the only thing that will get you louder than Roush!

Long tubes, off road x. And if that's not loud enough just take everything off except the headers lol

I've never heard someone want something louder than Roush, I like you already! Lol. Like some stated, LTS, off road x with you Roush should do it, but you might want to add some resonators as it will become ridiculously raspy.

Well... From what I've heard, if you try to make Roush's louder that's what you'll get... A whole lotta rasp and tin canny. They only way you'll make them louder is if you get long tube headers with either a catted or o/r mid pipe, but then they'll sound like poop

+1, That was my plan, adding LTS and off road x with my Roush, but it sounds stupid loud and a raspy mess from what I can gather on you tube. I pulled the trigger on shorties instead.

A catted x will also give you lots of rasp. Some that go with LTS and catted x/offroad x and roush use resonators to calm things down. Weather you go catted or not you'll probably want resonators added in the exhaust line.

If you you tube "3.7 mustang Roush with long tubes" it will give you some idea of what we are talking about. Make sure to read the description for each to see if the use a catted or off road x along with, or without resonators.

Not really... An x-pipe whether it's o/r, catted, or a normal x-pipe that bolts to stock pipes have a more raspy breathing sound. The h-pipe (once again, regardless of type) gives off a more muscular tone that we all know and love.

The gains between an x and h are very small, I prefer sound (h-pipe) over the small gain in power.

Try looking at the BBK Catted X-Pipe next. Then you might consider the BBK Ceramic Shorty Headers.

Long Tubes have one distinct disadvantage, Clearance. I have the Ceramic BBK Shorties, BBK Catted X-Pipe and Ford Racing Axle Backs. It's loud enough and quiet enough when your cruising you can talk normally while driving. Nothing worse than driving and all you hear is your engine drone. At least from my perspective, loud but not irritating.

LOUD 2012 v6

MAC performance just came out with a pro-chamber x pipe. From discussion about it on this forum a pro-chamber exhaust supposedly gives more hp/tg and a deeper sounding exhaust, and it deletes the resonators. http://shop.macperformance.com/Mid-P...mbers_c235.htm

What clearance issues do LTs have?

Have fun with ur car sounding like a truck at idle and **** at full and part throttle. I had roush Axlebacks with Long Tubes....it's terrible. Look on YouTube for Pypes after resonators my username is charlie too I believe.
