Shorty's are best for 95% street driving
If your only going to be racing 5% of the time the shorty headers will probably be better. They offer more torque at the lower RPM's and sound great. They fit with the Cats and just bolt up like the stock exhaust manifolds.
Now if your going after higher power in the upper RPM range you need to go for the long tubes and high performance cats (Or no cats at all) Not recommended. by me.
Both give way better performance then the stock manifolds and look great when you pop the hood.
